U.S. Trade and Development Agency: Nigeria – Xenergi Gas Gathering and Processing Project


Xenergi Gas Gathering and Processing Project The Grantee invites submission of qualifications and proposal data (collectively referred to as the “Proposal”) from interested U.S. firms that are qualified on the basis of experience and capability to develop a feasibility study for the Xenergi Gas Gathering and Processing Project.

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (“USTDA”) is providing a grant to Xenergi Ltd. (“Xenergi”) to fund a feasibility study to assess the feasibility of expansion and deployment of a gas gathering and processing project in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. The project will support the goals of Nigeria’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan by supporting Nigeria’s diversification of its energy industry.

The project will also help decrease the negative environmental, social and economic impacts of gas flaring and re-injection. Xenergi is an energy services company in Nigeria that provides optimized solutions in engineering, design, and construction projects, facility operations and maintenance, remote field monitoring, and other integrated project management services.

Xenergi is also involved in natural gas processing and monetization projects targeted primarily at remote stranded gas fields. Xenergi is a subsidiary of the Oil data Energy Group, a recognized energy service company in Nigeria that has provided oil-well intervention services and natural gas processing since 1993. Xenergi, with its partners, was the first independent Nigerian energy company to conceptualize, design, build, and operate a 25 MMSCFD modular gas processing facility with natural gas from the OML 56 Field.
