This week, it said it’s buying Inflow Technologies, based in Bangalore, India.

A Tech Data spokesman said the purchase price was not being disclosed. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals but is expected to close early in 2021.

This acquisition helps us strengthen our portfolio of networking and security solutions we’re able to offer to our channel partners, which are the technology manufacturers such as Apple, Cisco Systems and HP whose products Tech Data distributes, Tech Data chief executive office Rich Hume said in an announcement.

At the same time, he said it would enhance the company’s footprint in the Asia-Pacific market, which accounts for about 3 percent of Tech Data’s worldwide sales.

Inflow Technologies, which has 12 locations around India and southern Asia, is a technology distributor in areas such as cybersecurity, networking, storage and server management, infrastructure and application software.
