Manager, Labor Policy & Sustainability

The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) is a dynamic national trade association, representing the supermarket industry on the cutting-edge of food and consumer trends. We are looking for an experienced labor policy and sustainability expert who can help to provide research, information, and deliverables to FMI members in these areas.

In this diverse position, you will:

• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory initiatives with a specific focus on labor policy and sustainability issues;
• Represent FMI and FMI policy positions on Capitol Hill;
• Write position papers, letters, testimony and other issue-related materials to communicate FMI’s position to members and congressional and regulatory decision-makers; and,
• Assist with management of FMI’s Sustainability Executive Committee to include planning meetings, managing research projects, various administrative tasks and much more.
