South Carolina trade mission to Colombia and Brazil
October 14 - October 18
The South Carolina Department of Commerce in conjunction with our partners at the U.S. Commercial Service will be leading a multi-sector trade mission to Colombia and Brazil. The goal of this mission is to assist small to medium sized companies to export products and services to these important markets. The U.S. – Colombia Free Trade Agreement eliminated tariffs on 80% of U.S. exports of consumer and industrial products to Colombia. Each pre-screened mission participant will receive a customized schedule of B2B meetings to meet with prospective customers, distributors and business partners. Mission participants will also benefit from a market briefing, networking events, interpreter service, and transportation support.
Financial incentives are available for qualified SME’s through the South Carolina Export Incentives Program to cover the mission fee and up to $3,500 for qualified travel costs. Participants are limited to two representatives per company.
