Victor works at the nexus of media, marketing and technology, helping companies tackle online and mobile opportunities, serving as a strategic adviser and providing business development assistance.
He has been on the cutting edge of media and technology since launching his career on Wall Street. Starting as the only PC-wielding member of an M&A investment banking team, he was an early adopter of the cell phone in 1988, an entrepreneur with a digital out-of-home video network for airports and retail in 2006, and chief operating officer of the first publisher of original magazine content for the iPad.
To all of his endeavors, he brings experience from roles across multiple industries and solid academic credentials, with JD/MBA degrees from Columbia University and a BA from Harvard.
He has been bridging traditional and digital media both at large, established companies and in entrepreneurial ventures. Even in traditional companies, he sought out unconventional and innovative opportunities and found creative solutions:
• IBM: he managed $1.7 billion in private equity and was one of the first investors in funds such as Blackstone.
• PepsiCo: he was head of M&A, pursuing food/beverage concepts.
• ABC Television: he did venture capital for the network before creating the first business plan for ABCNews.com in 1996.
• Time Inc.: As head of strategic planning, he led their largest acquisition in a decade while helping the magazines bring their world-renowned content to the web before the first Internet bubble popped.
Arnaldo Carrera previously was the Chief Operating Officer at Tricap Partners & Co., where he was responsible for day-to-day operations at the firm. In this capacity, he worked with the Merchant Banking professionals in managing the various direct private equity transactions and buyside advisory assignments at the firm.
Arnaldo has been a Managing Partner at Strategic Business Alliance, a consulting firm that assists cross-border companies expand operations into foreign markets, most notably Latin America. In addition, he served as Chief Information Officer at Safra National Bank, one of the largest family-owned financial services firm, where he oversaw the firm’s asset management operations. He has held similar assignments with JP Morgan Chase & Co., Bankers Trust Company, and CIBC. Arnaldo is an entrepreneur, having started and funded several start-up companies during his career.
Arnaldo holds a BS in Economics and Physics from Rutgers University and an MS in Management Engineering from the N.J. Institute of Technology. He also completed executive education programs at NYU’s Stern School of Business and IBM’s Advanced Business Institute. Born and raised in Brazil, he has lived in the U.S. for over 40 years and is fluent in Portuguese and English. He currently serves on the board of the Brazil-Florida Business Council in Tampa, Florida.
A Founding Member of TradePost USA, Andrew has focused on helping clients promote and sell their products or services for 26 years.
Prior to founding Tradepost USA, Andrew served as CEO of FIC Global Advisors, a B2B 360 Marketing and Distribution firm serving the Sourced Services sector. Prior to Founding FIC, Andrew served as EVP of Sales and Marketing of Boca Raton based Outsourceworld starting in 2005. Andrew advanced to the expanded role as President of Outsourceworld in 2007. Andrew’s primary focus at Outsourceworld was government level engagement, primarily through commerce and investment promotion agencies, as well as regional ICT associations, working within the ICT enabled sourced services sector. Andrew forged relationships in over 30 countries including India, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Prior to Outsourceworld, Andrew served as Regional Sales Director for Qwest Communications, a Denver Colorado based Telecom and Internet Backbone provider. Andrew was responsible for Sales in a 13-state region in the Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West.
Megan A. Williams is an international relations professional with over a decade of experience in international business, multinational organizations and government relations. Megan has worked in many diverse roles including running and establishing her own successful consulting company.
Additionally, she has worked for the World Bank, the American Chamber of Commerce and the United States Government. In these roles, she has worked to implement policies, promoted trade and investment and fostered bilateral relationships between the United States, international businesses and governments.
Megan has extensive global work and business experience with significant research in international conflict analysis, negotiation and mediation. She holds a Masters of Arts degree in International Relations with a concentration in Conflict Management and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and International Relations.
Paul Garrin is a hands-on IT leader skilled in the implementation and execution of computerized systems, IT operations, human capital, process improvement, and the engagement of technology professionals. For the past 22 years, he has been an ambulatory, hospital, health system CIO and a multi-industry CIO consultant.
Prior IT experience was in the financial services industry where he worked as an AVP, IT Director, project manager and developer. Highly process oriented with superb communication skills and a clear focus on, IT road maps, architecture, operations, project management, governance, compliance and budget.
Paul holds Bachelors from Fordham University in Political Science with studies in Computer Science, and a Masters from Fordham University in Public Affairs with a concentration in Statistics and is fluent in French.
In her position at TradePost, Dawn edits, maintains and publishes content for the TradePost website and newsletter with input from internal stakeholders, delivering news that may point our clients in new directions as they make important business decisions.
Prior to taking up her position at TradePost, Dawn has been playing a leading role in directing the design and implementation of internal and client-facing communication at FIC Global Advisors for over 10 years. She has guided her team in the curation and editing of content for web, newsletters and other marketing collateral.
An experienced facilitator of international conference attendance and trade missions, Dawn has been providing organization and support for groups who participate in trade events in the U.S. and overseas since 2008.
With a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (DipEd), Dawn’s undergraduate studies were in English and Geography. For 15 years she was CEO of Aurora Fae Writers and served on the English and Student Development faculties at Kirkwood Community College for 18 years.
Professional with strong knowledge of international business practices, government relations, trade policy, market intelligence including a good overall comprehension of the challenges and opportunities, particularly those affecting U.S. – Brazil trade relations. Patricia has over six years of extensive experience in performing a range of services to support trade between USA and Brazil, also assisting foreign companies to expand or start a new business in the USA. Patricia Bartels holds a MBA Certificate in Foreign Trade and International Relations from FGV, São Paulo, a Journalism degree from University Cruzeiro do Sul, São Paulo and have lived in Brazil, Chile and USA, her native language is Portuguese and she speaks fluent English and Spanish.

Debora has more than 15 years of experience working in various sectors including IT, ITES and BPO. She started her career with document management outsourcing provider Lason Inc. and held marketing positions at Indchem Software Technologies Ltd. and Net Vision Cybertech (P) Ltd.
Debora plays a vital role at Tradepost USA charged with analyzing metrics, collecting data and publishing content for the website and newsletter. Debora works closely with the core team by identifying and applying the right tools to deliver the best results.

Iulian has more than seven years of experience in web design and illustration, project management, creative direction and online advertising, and over 10 years of experience in copy typing, transcribing and copywriting.
At TradePost USA Iulian is responsible for numerous creative tasks, including designing, developing, testing, managing and maintaining the organization’s website as well as print and digital print media and testing.
